Objective  To systematically evaluate the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) combined with evidence-based medicine (EBM) teaching mode in the standardized training of residents (referred to as "residence training").Methods CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, EMbase, and PubMed databases were searched, and the subject was limited to residential training. The intervention in the experimental group was PBL combined with EBM teaching method, and the control group used traditional lecture-based learning (LBL) teaching method, and the retrieval period was from the establishment of the database to August 2022. After searching and screening the literature, Cochrane system was used for quality assessment and drift risk assessment, and RevMan 5.3 software was used for meta-analysis. Results  A total of 19 articles with 1 203 subjects were included. The results showed that the theoretical scores (WMD=5.26, 95%CI=3.25-7.26; P<0.001), practical scores (WMD=7.45, 95%CI=4.14-10.77; P<0.001), and case analysis scores (WMD=9.41, 95%CI = 6.51-12.31; P<0.001) of the students in the EBM combined with PBL teaching mode were higher than those in the LBL teaching group. In addition, the EBM combined with PBL teaching mode significantly improved students' interest in learning and autonomous learning ability, clinical thinking ability, communication and expression ability, teamwork ability, and analysis and problem-solving ability. Conclusion  From the perspective of theoretical scores, practical scores and case analysis scores, the teaching effect of PBL combined with EBM has more advantages than traditional LBL teaching; at the same time, PBL combined with EBM teaching can improve students' ability to analyze clinical problems. In the future teaching reform of residential training, the PBL teaching method combined with evidence-based medicine thinking can be vigorously promoted.

Objective To fully understand the current situation of the curriculum ideological and political education ability of medical college teachers under the background of New Medical Science, and then provide countermeasures for effective curriculum ideological and political construction. Methods  This research used Questionnaire Star, an online crowdsourcing platform to investigate teachers in a certain medical university in Beijing, about the cognitive level of the importance and the current situation of curriculum ideological. and political education. A total of 193 valid questionnaires were collected. Results  Teachers have a moderate level of understanding of the concept and necessity of curriculum ideological and political education. Most teachers think that it is necessary for professional course teachers in medical colleges to provide corresponding ideological and political education, but they are not its main force. Teachers understand the curriculum ideological and political education through the policy documents at all levels. And the universities, colleges and teachers pay more attention to the construction of curriculum ideological and political education, and establish certain management mechanism. In terms of teaching development, most teachers have a positive attitude and think about how to organically integrate ideological and political education into medical professional courses, however, there is still room for improvement. In terms of the selection of ideological and political elements, teachers mainly focus on professional ethics, patriotism and scientific research literacy. In the choice of teaching methods, teachers mainly choose “case analysis” and “leading by example and subtly influencing”. In terms of the test of teaching effect, most teachers choose the way of “adding corresponding questions in the final examination”. Conclusion  With the further development of curriculum ideological and political education in medical colleges, teachers have deepened their awareness and emphasis, but they still need to improve their cognition of the main body of political education, the role of demonstration and guidance, the deep excavation of ideological and political elements, and the improvement of teaching ability in curriculum ideological and political. This study provides a reference basis for further analyzing of the difficulties in carrying out, and exploring the ways of effective construction for the curriculum ideological and political education.

Objective  To establish a preliminary performance evaluation index system for research teams in medical university to comprehensively and objectively evaluate the performance level of research teams. Methods  The balanced scorecard theory was introduced in this study, Delphi method and analytic hierarchy method were applied to establish a performance evaluation index system for medical university scientific research teams. The index system consists of 4 first-level indicators, 14 second-level indicators and 29 third-level indicators, and then we selected 6 scientific research teams for empirical verification. Results  There were significant gaps in the performance levels of the six teams. Teams have problems such as insufficient talent training, low degree of cooperation, weak academic influence and low social benefits. In order to solve these problems, it is suggested that medical universities should increase talent training, establish a well-structured scientific research team, strengthen the degree of cooperation inside and outside the team, and highlight local regional characteristics. Conclusion  The Balanced Scorecard method is applicable to the performance evaluation of research teams in medical university.

Objective  To investigate the current situation of the construction of the clinical research methodology platform, the provision of clinical research services and the current difficulties and challenges faced by the clinical research methodology platforms of Beijing Clinical Research Quality Promotion Center, thus to promote the construction of the clinical research methodology platform and to improve the service system. Methods  The clinical research methodology platforms of Beijing Clinical Research Quality Promotion Center were taken as the survey unit, and we selected the people in charge of the platform as the survey object. The Questionnaire Star was used to collect information about the construction of the platform and the current situation of the service system. Results  A total of 22 platforms participated in this survey. Among them, 9 (40.9%) platforms are independent departments, and 13 (59.1%) platforms belong to other departments. The total number of staff on the platform was 311, of which 180 (57.9%) were full-time staff. The researchers were mainly female (71.4%), under the age of 45 (74.0%), 69.8% majored in public health and preventive medicine, and 59.8% obtained doctorate degree. All platforms surveyed provided clinical research methodology services, including research scheme design (22, 100%), project management (11, 50%) and research data management (17, 77.3%). There were a variety of service forms, such as entrusted cooperation, paid and free consultation. Twenty-one platforms carried out training in clinical research methodology, mainly through online thematic training. In addition, 15 (68.2%) platforms conducted health statistics methodology research. In talent training, 17 (77.3%) platforms have a clear career promotion route for full-time employees, and 13 (59.1%) platforms have a clear talent evaluation system. The main difficulties faced by the current platform construction are the lack of attention from hospitals, unclear promotion system for talents and insufficient funding. Conclusion  The construction of clinical research methodology platform in Beijing is basically satisfactory with some challenges. In the future, more attention should be paid to the development of clinical research methodology platform, and the talent training system as well as the financial support are warranted to be improved.
