    I. Author Ethics

    1. The author is obliged to show that the paper is an original article and does not contain any forgeries, deceptions or plagiarism.

    2. The thesis does not involve state secrets or any infringement issues related to intellectual property rights.

    3. Guarantee that the paper has not been submitted in multiple drafts and that its contents have not been published in any other journals and media in any language.

    4. Clearly indicate the cited sources of the cited literature and list them in the form of references.

    5. Include in the manuscript information about grants related to the research and provide supporting documents, but not information about other grants that are not related to the research.

    II. Reviewer ethics

    1. Ensure scientific and accurate consideration of manuscripts and make objective and fair evaluations. Make use of their professional knowledge and ability to review the innovation, scientificity and practicability of the manuscripts; and make a fair assessment of whether the research methodology is appropriate, whether the scientific design is reasonable, whether the results and conclusions are accurate, and whether there is any leakage of confidentiality.

    2. Respect the research results of the authors and avoid manuscripts in which there is a relationship of interest. Evaluate the manuscripts under review only in terms of their academic nature, and refrain from evaluating individuals and making personal attacks. The authors must clearly state their opinions with sufficient arguments and facts.

    3. The manuscripts reviewed are kept strictly confidential and are not circulated or discussed with others, and the data, views and conclusions of the reviewed manuscripts are not used or published for personal use.

    III. Editorial ethics

    1. The editor strictly implements the relevant national laws and regulations, abides by the ethics and norms of academic publishing, and upholds the integrity of scientific research. Handle all incoming manuscripts in a timely and fair manner to ensure that the edited manuscripts are of high quality for publication.

    2. Respect the research results of authors and the opinions of reviewing experts. Maintain the authenticity of the review records and keep the information on all aspects of review and revision confidential. The editor and the editorial staff shall not disclose any information about the submitted papers to others, except for providing the required information to the corresponding authors, reviewers, and members of the editorial board, as appropriate.

    3. The reviewed manuscripts shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be circulated or discussed with others, nor shall the data, opinions and conclusions of the reviewed manuscripts be used or published for personal use. If there is a conflict of interest with the submitted manuscript, the editor should recuse himself/herself.

IV. Determination and Handling of Academic Misconduct

Academic misconduct is strictly prohibited in Medical Education Management. All manuscripts are tested by China National Knowledge Infrastructure Academic Misconduct Literature Checker for Science and Technology Journals, which requires a check rate of less than 20%, and a second verification is carried out after editing and processing the manuscript.

The specifics of academic misconduct can be found in "Academic publishing specification-Definition of academic misconduct for journals CY/T 174-2019" of the People's Republic of China Press and Publication Industry Standard issued by National Press and Publication Administration. In case of improper attribution, plagiarism, forgery, falsification, multiple submissions, duplicate publication, etc., the paper will be recognized as having academic misconduct and will be handled with reference to the relevant guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (https://publicationethics.org/).
