Medical Education Management (CN 10-1335/G4, ISSN 2096-045X) is an academic journal of medical education management supervised by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and sponsored by Capital Medical University. Based on the concept of " Scholars run Scholarly Journal ", the journal relies on the editorial board composed of authoritative experts from the Medical Education Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and relying on the Capital Medical University, Institute of Medical Education and other authoritative health research, teaching management institutions and domestic senior medical education scholars to form a strong academic think tank team, the journal provides a platform for teachers, postgraduates in medical sciences, medical education researchers, education and teaching administrators of China's medical schools, affiliated hospitals and teaching hospitals to conduct academic seminars on medical education, display the latest medical education reform results, and exchange their experiences in medical education and teaching, and it is also a place for exchanges and debates on the theory and practice of management in medical schools.
Medical Education Management is a bimonthly, large 16-page, 80-page journal. At present, the journal has been included in China Academic Journals Network Publishing Database ( CNKI series database), China Core Journals (Selection) Database (Wanfang Database), Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database (Weipu), China Biology Medicine disc (SinoMed), Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Database, and Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journals AMI (Comprehensive Evaluation Report). In addition, 1 supplement is published every year, and both the main journal and the supplement are core journals independently recognized by Capital Medical University. 2018-2023, it was selected as a statistical source journal of “Annual Report for Chinese Academic Journal Impact Factors”; 2020-2023, it was selected as a core journal of medicine and health in China. According to the 2024 Journal Citation Report of CITIC, the impact factor is 2.023 in 2023.
Reader orientation: for higher medical schools, hospitals of all levels and types and health education administrative institutions, the readership includes medical school teachers, educational researchers, teaching support staff, teaching managers and medical students; hospital medical staff; and managers of education and health administrative departments.
Purpose of the journal: To adhere to the correct direction of the journal, to report the frontier information of medical education at home and abroad, to show the achievements of medical education reform, to exchange the teaching experience of medical education, to carry out academic exchanges, and to promote the improvement of the level of medical education in China.
Responsibility for running the journal: To adapt to the transformation of medical model and the needs of internationalization of medical education, to study the management of medical education at home and abroad, and to promote the deepening of China's education reform.
