Application of ChatGPT as a large-scale language model in medical teaching

Abstract: With the development of artificial intelligence technology, the application of large-scale language models in medical education has become a hot topic of scholars' attention, especially ChatGPT. With its powerful natural language comprehension and generation capabilities, ChatGPT plays multiple roles in medical education. This article discusses in detail the application of ChatGPT in medical education, including online discussion and communication, passage analysis, intelligent grading, and teaching images generation, showcasing its significant results. At the same time, it also discusses in depth the challenges of data quality, model hallucination, data privacy and security, over-reliance and ethical issues that ChatGPT faces in the process of its application, and proposes corresponding ideas to solve them.
