Exploration and practice of medical humanities quality education in medical colleges guided by “Nanshan Spirit”

Abstract: Strengthening humanities quality education for medical students is not only the intrinsic driving force of medical essence, but also the realistic and inevitable requirement of medical education development in the new era of China. In the longterm practice of running a school, Guangzhou Medical University has condensed the spiritual characters of a galaxy of outstanding GMU professionals represented by Academician Zhong Nanshan into “Nanshan Spirit”, and incorporated it into the process of cultivating medical students, and developed the medical humanities quality education and training system guided by “Nanshan Spirit”, which has achieved positive results.
