Objective To promote the development of Chinese health care and sports industry, to assist in National Fitness Strategy, and to improve the mechanism of society sports instructor management and training. Methods We conducted an all-round and systemic research by way of literature review, expert interviewing questionnaire, combined with the experts’ opinion and feedback of society sports instructors. Results The number of society sports instructors in our country has reached 1.82 million. By the end of 2015, the number of Society Sports Instructors per thousand people had reached 1.5‰ in 19 provinces, from 1.00‰ to 1.49‰ in 6 6 provinces, and from 0.50‰ to 0.99‰ in 5 provinces. Guizhou Province was the highest with 6.00‰; Xinjiang Province was the second with 4.60‰, and Jiangxi, Guangzhou, Yunnan were 0.71‰, 0.57‰, 0.50‰ respectively. The gap among cities and regions is big. And the resource is focused more on the better developed areas. Because management system and mechanism are not sound, the supply and training system shortages, low standards for society sports instructors still exist, which definitely hinders the healthy development of sports. Conclusion We have the following proposals: (1) Reforming management mode and promoting the development of flexible industry; (2) Further improving the social sports instructor training system, and improving staff quality from the source; (3) Establishing and perfecting incentive guarantee mechanism, and developing society sports instructors; (4)Establishing a perfect evaluation system, and promoting the construction of professional society sports instructors.

Objective To investigate the teaching effect of the evidence-based medicine(EBM) course among medical students of Beijing Tongren Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University and explore the improving methods. Methods A total of 65 medical students, including thirty-one 5-year students and thirty-four 7-year students, were enrolled. Their examination paper was analyzed and the frequency of complete accuracy of each knowledge point was calculated. The comparison of the 5-year students and the 7-year students was made by Chi-square test. Opinions and suggestions were collected among the 5-year students. Results There were nine knowledge points with the frequency of complete accuracy exceeding 50% among 5-year students while there were only four among 7-year students and the other seven points were below 50%. All the students mastered the concept of EBM, but the perceptions towards randomized control trial were not good. The 5-year students were better than the 7-year students in mastering the two knowledge points: the concept of systemic review (80.65% vs 41.18%, P=0.001) and the level of evidence (61.29% vs 32.35%, P=0.019). Some 5-year students suggested that more chances of participation in the course should be given to them and hoped to go on learning EBM in their clinical practice. Conclusion The analysis of the above results may improve the teaching methods and strategies of the EBM course for the 5-year and 7-year medical students. It will benefit the teaching of the EBM course in the clinical practice stage.

In order to learn the advanced experience of foreign medical education, I study the 2009 report of “Doctor of Tomorrow”. This paper summarizes the basic ability requirements of British medical graduates from three aspects: doctors, practitioners and professionals. I obtained three revelations. Firstly, the Chinese medical education should strengthen medical students’ knowledge in sociology, psychology and so on. Secondly, we should improve their knowledge innon-verbal communication. Thirdly, doctors should have teamwork awareness. They should have a harmonious relationship not only with their patients, but also with their colleagues.

It is important for medical professionals to read medical papers written in English and catch the key points in the papers quickly, and it warrants the individual medical knowledge update. Nowadays most medical students haven’t obtained the above ability, and the Extended Reading Course is a way to solve the problem. On the basis of medical knowledge acquired in class, the goal of the Extended Reading is to guarantee the further accumulation of medical English and medical knowledge. There are three parts for the Extended Reading, including Extended Reading Textbook, Web Library and WeChat Platform. All those contribute to obtaining the ability of reading medical papers quickly and the ability of active study for medical students. Furthermore, the Extended Reading is helpful to promote understanding on how to train medical students and accelerate the medical education reform and development.

To study the value of mini clinical evaluation exercise (Mini-CEX) in training respiratory residents, all 22 new respiratory residents of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital were evaluated by Mini-CEX from July 2014 to July 2015. Each respiratory resident was evaluated for 6 times. The respiratory residents realized their weaknesses through Mini-CEX, and their clinical competence was improved by strengthening exercises. There was significant statistics difference between the first and the last Mini-CEX scores (P<0.01). Teachers’ and residents’ satisfaction rate with Mini-CEX was more than 90%. Mini-CEX is a convenient and effective medical teaching method. The implementation of Mini-CEX is benefitial to better development of the respiratory residents.

Objective To analyze the practical cases and operations in the residents training of obstetrics and gynecology during their standard training, so as to establish the scientific training standards. Methods Based on medical record information from 2012 to 2014 in a big maternity hospital in Beijing, we compared the practical cases and operations of the residents with the Rules for standardized training of residents in obstetrics and gynecology in Beijing. Results Most residents fulfilled the set quota by the Rules, which means that they have got the basic clinical ability after the training. Both endometrial polyps and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) Ⅲ were the leading cases in gynecological disease, whereas there is no corresponding requirements in the Rules. There was alack of severe cases for the residents to practice..The number of gynecological operations met the requirements of the Rules. There were three types of obstetricoperations, including RAM, lateral episiotomy suture and placental abruption, in which the residents failed to meet the lowest requirements of the Rules. Conclusion The training hospitals should provide enough severe cases and common minor surgery for residents training, and Rules for standardized training of residents in obstetrics and gynecology in Beijing needs to be modified.

Clinical practice is an important part of medical education, and the quality of the practice is very important for medical students to become qualified clinicians. However, the time periods for the postgraduate entrance examination preparation and clinical practice are largely overlaped, and some students can not deal well with the relationship between clinical practice and postgraduate entrance examination. They only attach importance to the postgraduate entrance examination preparation, and thus their qualities of clinical training decrease. Therefore, we must help them properly handle the relationship between clinical practice and postgraduate entrance examination, and let the two tasks complement each other.

Objective To analyze the hospitalization cost and the influencing factors of long-term inpatients in Beijing secondary and tertiary hospitals and to provide the basis for formulating reasonable payment system. Methods Using descriptive analysis for the long-term inpatients’ cost and daily cost, and analyzed the influencing factors of daily cost by multiple regression analysis. Results The long term inpatients’ cost in Beijing secondary and tertiary hospitals covers 11.12% of the total inpatients’ cost. The proportion of drug cost in their total cost was 47.44%. A large number of the patients suffered from circulatory system diseases, tumors and respiratory diseases. Age, hospitalization period, payment system, activity of daily living, system disease classification had impact on their daily cost. Conclusion The proportion of medical resources occupied by long-term inpatients in Beijing is considerably large. Nursing home should play a professional role in long-term care. In nursing homes, researches on exploring the daily-cost payment and developing reasonable payment standards are important.

Medical students in different learning stage reflected that the ideological situation is different, and the content and key point of the moral work is also discrepant. With the transformation of medicine and health care environment, the new requirements are put forward specially to moral education in clinical phase of medical students. The new requirements consist of paying attention to reinforcing the clinical skills training, grasping characteristics of the times and practically developing moral education which fits to the ideological features of medical students and environmental changes.
