Objective Through the analysis of the current status of fitness instructors in our country, the study intended to clarify the problems in the development and cultivation of fitness instructors, and provide reference to the construction and cultivation on the fitness instructors, and also provide strong reference for the personnel development of the Health Service Industry. Methods The research adopted the literature review method. The present status and the deficiency of fitness instructors were summarized. Results According to our nearly 5 years research on fitness coaches, the ages of fitness coaches were mainly in the 20s and 30s. Among them, 70% to 80% were men, and only 20% to 30% were women. In terms of education, those in developed and urban areas showed a trend of higher education; more than 70% of them had college degrees. In less developed areas, fitness instructors’ academic degrees were relatively low, with very few undergraduate degrees. Most of them had secondary and tertiary education. More than 50% fitness instructors were from sports majors, and the proportion was rising. More than 85% of fitness instructors had one or more qualification certificates. In the working periods, the focus is on two to six years. Only less than 10% fitness instructors were trained after work, but they had high desire for training. Conclusion Currently, fitness instructors tend to be younger with gender imbalance and low degrees. The training of fitness instructors now maily concentrates on theoretical training, and there is a lack of practice training. Training institutions should be improved. Training time should be longer. The source of students is complex and the professional threshold is low. Although they have certain specialized knowledge, it is still a long way for them to reach the professional level. There are still some unqualified coaches.

Objective To promote the development of Chinese health care and massage industry, to assist in National Fitness Strategy, and to improve the mechanism of masseurs management and training. Methods We conducted an allround and systemic research by way of literature review and experts interviewing questionnaire, combined with the experts’ opinions and masseurs’ feedback. Results Nowadays, there are about 0.6 million masseurs in China, and the majority of them are the blind people. However, only about 90 thousand masseurs are certificated. Accounting to the labor related department, we need 5 masseurs per one thousand person, so there are still eight million masseurs in need, especially the middle and advanced masseurs. Conclusion With the lack of relevant policy, the development of the massage industry lacks power and guarantee. The responsibility of stakeholders is not clear either. Meanwhile, the problems of short supply, low service ability and loss of guarantee cause difficulties in the development of massage. Advice The government and relevant departments should introducing policies to standardize the market management, further improve the massage training system, make full use of the resources in colleges and universities, promote the development of blind masseurs, and perfect relevant measures.

Objective To investigate the learning adaptability and to explore the factors influencing the learning adaptability of medical students in higher medical colleges. Methods The subjects interviewed were full-time undergraduates in a medical college. We used interview method to collect data and analyzed the data by content analysis method. Results The interview results show that senior students had a high learning motivation and enthusiasm, they could reasonably allocate learning time, and master the appropriate learning rhythm. The clinical students met internship pressures because of their unskilled clinical practice, and therefore, thier learning adaptability was relatively poor. The highest number of inadaptabilty was among the low-grade students, and the main reason is that teachers teaching methods did not macch most students' acceptability. Conclusion The adaptability of students in medical colleges and universities is affected by the students' learning ability, teachers' teaching methods, students’specialties, students’friendship, psychological and environmental factors. Learning adaptability education should be focused on the low-grade students.

In recent years, many university hospitals around the world have gradually explored the establishment of evaluation indictor system including medicine, teaching, scientific research and so on, and have established corresponding evaluation criteria. But for the indictor systems, there are few comprehensive evaluation indictor systems that contain the combination of quantitative and qualitative indexes for medicine, teaching and scientific research. They also lack the evaluation mechanism for rolling out the unqualified hospitals in the process of development. In this study, according to the actual situation of the affiliated hospitals at Capital Medical University, and through literature review and expert consultation method, we initially established a university hospital evaluation index system with both qualitative and quantitative indexes. We have applied the system to evaluate four hospitals, and improved the medical treatment, teaching and scientific research levels of our university hospitals. The research also has important practical significance to promote the medical education and enhance the comprehensive strength of the university hospitals.
