    Based on the requirements of the professional construction of “new engineering”, to explore the innovative talent training mode of “medicine-engineering combined” rehabilitation engineering, so as to meet the needs of the development of rehabilitation in the new era.  Guided by engineering talents’ training concepts and the improvement of students’ innovation ability, a talent training mode with the characteristics of rehabilitation engineering was constructed.  The training concept, talent training program and innovative education platform of “medicine-engineering combined” rehabilitation project have been formed, which have achieved obvious teaching results and been fully recognized by the society and industry.

    The experimental teaching center is an important platform  for cultivating application-oriented talents and improving students’ abilities, such as innovation, practice, and solving practical problems.  The Experimental Teaching Center of Pathophysiology, Hebei North University adheres to the “student-centered” educational philosophy, aims to train high-quality applied medical professionals, and focuses on the three objective dimensions, including knowledge, ability, and quality. We focused on the construction of teacher team and experimental platform for practice and teaching, which was opened for entire university. To promote the coordinated development of knowledge, ability, and quality, we strengthen the teachers’ guidance role, and the students’ innovation ability, practice ability, professional literacy, and comprehensive quality.

    New technology exerts far-reaching impact on medical education that also needs innovation under the healthy China strategy. As an important carrier of medical education, curriculum needs to be updated as well.  Based on the construction of online open curriculum in our university, this paper first analyzes the “flipped classroom” and “online open curriculum” of medical education, and expounds in detail the construction process of online open curriculum based on flipped classroom in our university.  Based on flipped classroom, the online open curriculum construction path has been formed in medical colleges.  It is of practical significance to the curriculum construction of medical colleges and the study of medical students.

    Adhering to the concept of “building up people by virtue ”, to promote the course reform of “ mental health education for college students ” under the concept of “curriculum thought and politics”. Combining curriculum education with psychological education and  focusing on the citizen level of socialist core values as the key elements, to adjust the curriculum chapters properly. The design is divided into three modules: self-identity, value identity and professional identity, finding the right meeting point of  ideological and political education in curriculum  and professional education, establishing a generative internal relationship in a seamless and organic way, and realizing the organic unity of knowledge imparting and value guidance in professional teaching.     Rain Classroom is a smart teaching software jointly developed by Tsinghua University and Xuetang Online in 2016. This teaching tool aids the most advanced and cutting-edge information technologies such as mobile Internet and cloud computing integrate into the classroom teaching, and the energy of teaching and learning can be fully released. Rain Classroom currently has been applied in many domestic universities as well as in our hospital’s infectious diseases teaching. The specific application process, problems and solutions in our infectious diseases teaching are explained and analyzed. The paper aims to provide reference for more colleges and universities to use Rain Classroom more reasonably, so as to help more teachers and students benefit from Rain Classroom.

     In the context of COVID-19 epidemic, pediatric nursing has carried out the “Internet +” diversified teaching mode.     The development of medical students is key to promote China medical and health industry and the Healthy China strategy. Training medical student cadres is essential to promote the overall development of medical students and improve the overall quality of medical team. Based on the characteristics of postgraduate students in Fuwai Hospital, Peking Union Medical College, this article analyzes the current problems in the training of student cadres in medical schools and actively explores the training and assessment system to improve the overall level of student cadres, namely comprehensive selection, classified training, multi-dimensional assessment, powerful rewards and punishments and multi-channel expansion, so as to cultivate medical reserve talents with medical literacy and comprehensive qualities.

    Trauma emergency is an important composition of clinical medical system. Due to the lack of trauma emergency curricula in traditional medical education in China, the ability of junior residents cannot meet the clinical needs. By the principle of evidence-based medicine, UpToDate-based standardized training course of trauma emergency for the residents can not only arouse students’ learning enthusiasm and interests, but also ensure the homogeneity of clinical teaching and the systematic clinical case design, which can provide a new platform for the training of trauma emergency in standardized training program of residents. In addition, interchanging the content of doctor-patient communication with trauma emergency training is helpful to strengthen medical humanistic education of residents.

    ObjectiveTo explore the effects of situational teaching method with “ideological and political elements” in standardized training for residents in hepatology department. MethodsA total of 48 students in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group adopted “ideological and political elements” in situational teaching method, and the control group adopted the traditional teaching method. The results of theoretical examination, practical skill assessment and teaching evaluation satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results There were no significant difference in the scores of theoretical test scores between two groups (P>0.05). Comparing the scores of clinical practice skills between the two groups, the experimental group was better than the control group in terms of patient receiving ability, clinical thinking path analysis, medical advice disposal, medical record writing, doctor-patient communication and total score of practical skills (P<0.05). Compared the questionnaire on both groups’ teaching effect, the scores to enhance interest in learning, improve autonomous learning, ability of solidarity and cooperation, improve professional ethics and overall teaching satisfaction were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). ConclusionTeaching method with “ideological and political elements”  applied in the standardized training of hepatology residents has good effects, and is suitable for popularization.

    ObjectiveTo explore the application effect of TBL combined with CBL in the teaching of respiratory system integrated medicine. MethodsA total of 185 undergraduates from Grade 2017 in medical colleges were selected by cluster sampling as the research objects, and they were divided into a control group (n=90) and an experimental group (n=95). In the course of integrated medicine of respiratory diseases, the control group adopts traditional teaching method, and the experimental group adopts TBL combined with CBL teaching method. After the lecture, the course assessment and questionnaire survey are used to evaluate the teaching effect of the two groups.Results The course assessment score of the TBL combined with CBL teaching group was (82.17±6.90), which was higher than the traditional teaching group (78.81±7.86), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). In terms of teaching satisfaction, the TBL combined with CBL teaching group is generally better than the traditional teaching group. ConclusionThe TBL combined with CBL teaching method has a satisfactory effect in the respiratory system teaching in integrated medicine, and the overall satisfaction of students is high. At the same time, it helps to improve students’ independent learning ability, team communication ability and logical thinking ability.

    Acute aortic dissection (AAD) is a major vascular disease that seriously affects human life and health, and choice of clinical treatment options is the key and difficult point in resident training. Case-based learning (CBL) teaching method uses cases as teaching materials to inspire students’ independent thinking, by various ways and under the guidance of teachers, so as to achieve desired teaching purpose. This paper showed the initial exploration of CBL in AAD disease teaching from five aspects: the determination of clinical teaching objectives, the design of teaching cases, the implementation of CBL teaching in clinical practice, teaching evaluation and mobile learning courses.

    ObjectiveTo observe the efficacy of sand table extrapolation case pedagogy in teaching emerging infectious diseases. MethodsFrom December 16, 2020 to December 25th, 80 medical undergraduates who studied emerging infectious diseases in our hospital were randomly divided into control group (n=40) and observation group (n=40) according to different teaching methods. The control group used traditional teaching methods, and the observation group adopted sand table extrapolation case pedagogy, and a teaching questionnaire was designed to compare the quality of teaching between two groups, and to investigate students’ interests and their satisfaction with teaching.Results In terms of teaching quality, students in the observation group scored higher than those in the control group on the understanding of the definition of emerging infectious diseases, the transmission route, the influencing factors of the epidemic, and the prevention and control countermeasures, but the difference was not statistically significant. The total score of introduction of new infectious diseases was higher in the observation group than that in control group (514.4 ± 75.9 vs. 463.4 ± 77.3), which was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the observation and the control groups in response to a novel coronavirus pneumonia (89.5±21.6 vs. 93.1±20.6), and other emerging infectious diseases (67±18.4 vs. 62±18.0) on the recognition level were not significantly different. Students in the observation group were more satisfied with the teaching method than those in the control group (97.5% vs. 87.5%). The teaching method of most interesting to the students was a combination of multiple teaching styles (60%) with no restraint in traditional teaching styles. ConclusionThe teaching mode of using the sand table extrapolation case pedagogy in teaching emerging infectious diseases was highly effective and could improve the quality of teaching. However, for specific emerging infectious diseases cognition is not superior to traditional teaching methods, so further promotion of the method combined with traditional teaching is recommended.

    Coronary artery disease is the key point in teaching cardiovascular disease. The variety of clinical manifestation of acute myocardial infarction (AMI ) makes differential diagnosis complex, which is always the difficult point but essential in teaching medical students. One of the challenges encountered in the AMI-learning process for medical students is to understand and remember the basic knowledge of AMI correctly. Mnemonic devices are one of the most important methods used, helping learners to remember quickly. In the current review, we recommended tutors to use the mnemonic methods frequently in teaching the AMI to help students improve understanding and memory, with the technique of psychology, including acronym, memory for digits, position memory, pithy mnemonic formula, harmonic and association.

    ObjectiveTo investigate the evaluation of general practitioner trainers on teaching contents for community clerkship for clinical medicine undergraduates and the demand for the teaching manual, and to provide effective tools to improve the effect of community clerkship. MethodsFrom April to June 2019, a questionnaire survey and personal in-depth interview were conducted among general practitioner trainers and public health trainers who undertook community clerkship teaching of clinical medical undergraduates who entered Capital Medical University. General practitioner and public health trainers’ evaluation on the importance of current community clerkship content was investigated by questionnaire. Likert scale was adopted to evaluate each question. 5 points indicated “Important”, 3 points indicated “General” and 1 point indicated “Not important”. The average score of the importance of each teaching content was calculated respectively. The personal in-depth interviews focused on the key points of the current community clerkship and the difficulties of teaching. Focus group interview was conducted in November 2019. The content of the interview included how to develop the teaching content and teaching manual of community clerkship. Content analysis was used to analyze the interview materials.Results A total of 114 questionnaires were sent out and 105 valid questionnaires were returned. The general practitioner trainers thought that the top three contents in community clerkship were “collection of medical history” (4.91), “physical examination” (4.89), and “medical history writing” (4.89). Public health trainers thought that the top three contents in community clerkship were “planned immunization” (4.83), “maternal and child health care” (4.83), and “prevention and control of infectious diseases” (4.83). The 12 general practitioner trainers who participated in the personal in-depth interview thought the teaching content of general practice and public health service should be highlighted respectively; there is an urgent need to develop a case-oriented community clerkship teaching manual due to the different teaching levels of the trainers; trainers were stressed with heavy tasks and insufficient teaching time. The focus group interviews confirmed the details of teaching content and the framework of the case-oriented teaching manual in the community clerkship. ConclusionThe teaching content and case-oriented teaching manual framework for undergraduates’ two-week community clerkship have been formulated through quantitative and qualitative research methods. A convenient and feasible teaching tool will be provided for the trainers and will promote the community clerkship.

     This paper aims to promote the construction of research-oriented talent teams in China, and the organic combination of basic medical research with clinical application. Based on the actual needs of clinical medicine, it provides scientific and effective index system for training and selection of research-oriented clinicians. This index system includes 5 first-level indicators, 9 second-level indicators, and 25 third-level indicators. We take AHP method to calculate the index weights, and form a complete research-oriented clinicians training model index system.

     Children and Adolescent Health is an important part of preventive medicine, and is of great significance to carry out the assessment of experimental skills. Students’ supportive attitude toward skill assessment is an important factor influencing teaching reform. There is currently no report on the willingness of preventive medicine undergraduates to support the experimental skill assessment of “Children and Adolescent Health”. A questionnaire was designed and the corresponding scale was used to investigate undergraduates majoring in preventive medicine. The results showed that preventive medicine undergraduates have a high degree of support for the experimental skill assessment of Children and Adolescent Health. High-efficiency academic self-efficacy, active learning motivation and good learning process help students support the skill assessment. In the future, the reform of skill assessment of Children and Adolescent Health should focus on stimulating students’ learning motivation, improving academic self-efficacy and students’ support for experimental skill assessment.

    The document of the Employment Work of the Ministry of Education and the main ideas in 2021 work of the Ministry of Education both point out that the employment work of colleges and universities should widen the channels of employment at the grassroots level, organize and recruit grass-roots projects, and guide graduates to find jobs and start businesses around the needs of various services in urban and rural grass-roots communities. This paper explored a health vocational college in Beijing from 2016 to 2020, took rural orient ed graduates as research object. Through questionnaire research methods, a survey was conducted on the employment status, wage treatment, employment satisfaction, curriculum and employment guidance of graduates. The results showed that rural oriented graduates have the opportunity to enter stable employment workplaces, the salary level is higher than the regional average level, and the overall job satisfaction is higher. The results also reflect students need to strengthen vocational skills training, professional courses, and employment guidance. Finally, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions, including optimizing the curriculum, guiding graduates’ targeted employment, changing graduates’ employment concept, and actively guiding graduates’ grass-roots employment.

    Hospital trust is an effective way to promote the expansion of high-quality medical resources and the balanced distribution of resources. In order to further explore the effects of different types of hospital trusteeships, three typical samples are selected, and semi-structured interviews are conducted with the district health committee and relevant persons in charge of the trustee hospital. Using Grounded Theory, three levels of coding were carried out on the interview data, and finally 38 concepts, 17 sub-categories, and 4 main categories were sorted out. It is found that the managed hospital has improved significantly in terms of standardized management, medical services, discipline layout and development; and the integration between the trustee and the entrusted hospital is limited by the investment in hospital development funds and institutional cultural differences. It is recommended that the competent authority should facilitate the introduction of supporting policies related to custody, encourage the construction of the data sharing platform between institutions, promote the enhancement of cultural integration between the trustee and the entrusted. As a result, forming a community of interests, further improving the sinking effect of high-quality medical resources, and meeting the multi-level medical services of regional residents need.

    ObjectiveBased on the Kirkpatrick’s four-level model, this article objectively evaluated the effectiveness of the management training program organized by Ditan Infection Alliance to provide reference for the further effective construction of specialized alliance. MethodsIt took a full management training course as the research object, and used Kirkpatrick’s four-level model as the research method. Focusing on four research layers (Reaction, Learning, Behavior and Result), it evaluated the training effect during and one year after the training.Results A total of 31 hospitals participated in the training, and 23 hospitals finally implemented 54 management measures of the analyzed courses, 74.19% of the hospitals had substantial impact from the training. ConclusionThis training has achieved the desired targets, and the evaluation system adopted has its scientific validity. It is able to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of training. It is of great significance to continuously improve the level of management training program.
