Development of assessment index system on construction of homogeneity of preventive medicine practice teaching bases

Abstract: Objective To develop an assessment index system of homogenization of preventive medicine practice teaching bases and to provide reference for ensuring the high level of training quality of medical talents practice teaching.Methods The basic framework of the preliminary evaluation index system was constructed by analytic hierarchy process. The final evaluation index system and its weight were determined by Delphi method, and the statistical index was analyzed by SPSS26.0 software.Results A total of 13 experts were selected for (29.6±6.5) years of related work. The positive coefficients of the two rounds of expert consultation were 100%. The authority coefficients of experts were 0.842-0.935 and 0.881-0.969 respectively. The mean coefficient of variation of all indicators were 0.18(0.12-0.29) and 0.10(0.00-0.20), respectively. The Kendall's Wcoefficients were 0.219 and 0.414 respectively (all P<0.01). The variation coefficients of various indicators in the second round were all less than 0.25, indicating that expert's opinions tend to be consistent and the research results were highly reliable. The evaluation index system of homogeneity construction of preventive medicine practice teaching base composed of 6 first-level indexes, 19 second-level indexes and 32 third-level indexes and corresponding weights were established.Conclusion The evaluation index system of homogeneity construction of preventive medicine practice teaching base in this study has strong scientificity, applicability and reliability. It can be used to guide the construction and management of practical teaching bases, help improve the quality of practical teaching training of preventive medicine talents, and achieve consistent teaching effects in all bases.
