Construction and application of curriculum evaluation index system under the value orientation of “golden course” —taking Southern Medical University as an example

Abstract:  University curriculum is an important component of higher education. Scientific evaluation of curriculum plays an important role in improving the quality of higher education and promoting the connotative development of higher education. The theoretical connotation and construction standards of “golden course” provide new ideas for the evaluation and analysis of teaching effects of curriculum. By analyzing the value orientation of “golden course” and its enlightenment to curriculum evaluation, this paper constructs a curriculum evaluation index system under the value orientation of “golden course”, and applies it in Southern Medical University. It evaluates and analyzes the curriculum from four aspects: moral education, teaching resources, teaching methods, and comprehensive ability. Finally, it proposes strategies for optimizing and guaranteeing curriculum evaluation under the value orientation of “golden course”, and provides reference for exploring the effectiveness and quality of college courses.
