Nuclear medicine has distinct disciplinary features. The Department of Nuclear Medicine of Capital Medical University, as the teaching hub of various affiliated hospitals, solely relying on the traditional mode of teaching management, fails to give full play to its role in the cultivation of complex young talents advocated by modern medical education. From 2021 to 2023, the PDCA (plan-do-check-act) cycle was performed in the education and training practice of the department's young talents. Continuous planning, implementation, results inspection, and adjusting the training plan and objectives according to the evaluation results were carried out to improve the program of educational practice activities, as well as better design and organization of teaching activities. This provided new ideas and certain empirical experience for the training of other young talents in departments.

High-level compound medical talents are the main driving force for the high-quality development of China's healthcare industry, particularly in responding to future medical challenges and achieving the "Healthy China 2030" goal. Under the background of New Medicine, promoting interdisciplinary integration is crucial for innovative talent training. Although the development level of China's medical education in the new era has been steadily improving, there are still outstanding problems such as the continuous differentiation of medical disciplines, insufficient aggregation, insufficient concentration of efforts, insufficient innovativeness of medical talents, as well as the quality of medical personnel training to be improved. This study, based on the new positioning of medical education development in industry-specific institutions, proposes a "major discipline" and "major science" talent training model under the perspective of multidisciplinary integration. It designs an innovative talent teaching path for the new medical science based on the instructional system design (ISD) model and a "Future Medicine+" curriculum system integrating multiple disciplines. The study demonstrates and evaluates the implementation effects of this curriculum system, promoting further enhancement in the value of multidisciplinary integration and innovative education.

Objective Taking a medical college in Beijing as a sample, the current situation and impact mechanism of medical undergraduate students' willingness to work at the grassroots level were analyzed, aiming to provide scientific reference for improving medical students' willingness to seek employment at the grassroots level and high-quality employment. Methods A questionnaire survey and descriptive analysis were conducted to discuss the current situation of medical students' willingness to seek employment at the grassroots level; and qualitative comparative analysis (QCA) was used to explore the path impact of different combinations of five antecedents, namely, salary, career development, work environment, emotional support, and self worth, on medical students' willingness to work at the grassroots level. Results 57.43% of medical students are willing to go to the grass-roots level for employment. Four equivalent paths lead to medical students willing to go to the grass-roots level for employment, and two paths lead to medical students not having willingness to go to the grass-roots level for employment. Conclusion The five antecedent variables of salary, career development, work environment, emotional support, and self worth all play a key role in improving the willingness of medical students to seek employment at the grass-roots level. Specific measures include improving the environment of primary medical institutions, providing positive emotional support from families, and emphasizing theoretical education guidance and practical activities in schools.
