The collaborative model of medicine and education emphasizes the integration of medical foundation and clinical curricula, and improves the clinical thinking and clinical practice ability of medical students. As the first stage of the “5+3” medical education continuum, five-year undergraduate medical education has the practical problems of separation of theory and practice, imperfect teaching guarantee system and students, weak independent learning in the course of clinical curriculum teaching. This paper focuses on how to improve the undergraduates training quality in five-year clinical medicine from the aspects of unifying ideological understanding, emphasizing top-level design, strengthening teaching staff, optimizing teaching conditions, bettering supervision and evaluation, etc. It aims to continuously deepen teaching reform, to train post competence, to lay a solid foundation for cultivating all-round applied clinical medical talents.

he implementation of the “Healthy China” strategy calls for a corresponding “new medical” talent training system, and it is imperative for education and teaching reform to be based on the needs of the medical and health system and oriented by professional competency. Therefore, when revising medical talent training program, we propose to reorganize the training objectives and graduation requirements driven by competency; to optimize curriculum system according to the principle of reverse design and forward construction of “curriculum matrix”; to condense the course content and refine the core courses according to the course objectives; to fully explore online course resources and modular setting of elective courses and to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship education with whole talent training process.

The integration of the self-confidence education of Chinese medicine into ideological and political courses of higher Chinese medicine colleges in the new era is essential to adapt to new situation of ideological and political work in current Chinese medicine colleges, to achieve new breakthroughs in the construction of Marxist theory, to choose a new perspective of ideological and political theory education for college students, and to form new ideas for ideological and political curriculum reform. This article argues that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) thinking is inherently interlinked with Marxist theory, the excellent TCM culture is compatible with the core socialist values, and the TCM cultures historical evolution coexists with the development of modern Chinese excellent culture. It concludes that the self-confidence education of traditional Chinese medicine can be deeply integrated with ideological and political courses by constructing joint design, blending curriculum resources, and strengthening the path of practical education.

The COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020 has made online teaching an inevitable choice for the completion of teaching tasks, and prompted colleges and universities to start the reform of education mode based on online teaching. Implementing the spirit of “suspending class, ongoing learning”, Ningxia Medical University unified leadership, established online teaching team and student-centered teaching arrangement, integrating education resources to establish new remote teaching form of “Internet + education”. The online teaching is successfully carried out and quality is guaranteed through multiple means. Based on practical experience, this paper reflects and summarizes the education mode reform of online teaching normalization. Firstly, the challenge of large-scale online teaching left us with rich practical experience and innovative ideas, to prepare for three-dimensional changes of “teaching”, “learning” and “management” in the field of education and teaching, and a new form of education and teaching has now been gradually established. Secondly, the relationship between online teaching and offline classroom should be redefined and the advantages of the two should be implemented, creating a new normality of blending online and offline teaching. Thirdly, from passive acceptance to active change, it is the surge and practice of teaching quality consciousness, as well as the foundation of the new ecology of student-centered and outcome-oriented quality revolution.

The appropriate setting of the courses has a decisive effect on the training quality of clinic medical students. The integration of virtual simulation experimental teaching projects into the curriculum system of clinic medical students training is an inner requirement for the in-depth integration of information technology and higher education practice teaching. This article explored how the virtual simulation experimental teaching project can play a role in training rural order-oriented medical students, how to choose a virtual project and how to integrate it into the curriculum system; and investigated its teaching effect through questionnaires. The results show that most students believe that the application of virtual simulation experimental teaching projects is conductive to the knowledge expansion and better learning effect, helps to cultivate the clinical thinking and scientific research quality of general medical talents, helps to cultivate independent learning and life-long learning ability, and helps to master related skills such as information technology. How to better integrate virtual and reality is worthy of our further exploration and research.

Objective   To analyze the examination results of graduation skills of ultrasound medicine specialty in Beijing residents standardized training in 2020 and to explore the influencing factors. Methods  The basic data, skill assessment results and overall examination results of ultrasound medicine specialty in Beijing residents standardized training were collected, and the overall examination results of different categories of candidates, different sites and different assessment items were statistically analyzed by χ2 test  test. Results  There were no significant differences in the pass rates of candidates with different identity types  (χ2=0.453, P=0.797), different educational levels (χ2=1.990, P=0.549), different training years (χ2=1.132, P=0.568); the pass rates of candidates at different assessment sites  (χ2=453.611, P=0.000) were statistically significant (P<0.05). Among them, the pass rate of “humanistic communication and assessment of new coronary pneumonia and nosocomial infection” (100%) was the highest, and the pass rate of “operation skill” was 97.5%. Secondly, the pass rate of “radiological imaging and nuclear medicine reading” and “case analysis and diagnosis” was the lowest (94.17%). Except for abdominal examination items, the pass rate of operation skill of the same group was higher than that of case analysis and diagnosis. Conclusion   Residents of Beijing ultrasound medical specialty have preliminarily achieved homogeneous training, but the training should be strengthened scientifically for the weak links of skill mastery.

New medical education puts forward new requirements for the quality and supply of curriculum resources in medical colleges. In order to analyze the quality problems of medical MOOC and solve the contradiction between supply and demand of medical MOOC, the applicability and change of MOOC for learners are taken as the main judgment standards of MOOC quality. Firstly, 1 118 medical courses in five MOOC platforms in China were investigated, 12 medical MOOC learning experiments were carried out, and 1 114 learners were investigated by questionnaire and some of them were interviewed. There are some quality problems such as unclear positioning, unbalanced distribution, imperfect content and inaccurate learning support service for the MOOC. Then, this paper analyzes the learning needs of medical MOOC learners from four aspects of learners identity characteristics, knowledge structure, age distribution and learning time, then explores medical MOOC learners learning expectation from internal and external learning motivation. Finally, According to the expectation model, the author puts forward countermeasures to improve the quality of medical MOOC construction from five aspects: market research, learner analysis, teaching strategy optimization, teacher-student interaction feedback and technical support service.
