Since the implementation of the three-oriention talent training model in Qiqihar Medical College in 2011, many fruitful attempts have been made in student education and teaching, curriculum reform and so on, and also, some achievements have been obtained, supported and approved by peer professors. Yet the comprehensive quality evaluation of the students still adopted the old evaluation methodology, which did not fully reflect the students’ resultant performance under the three-roientation personnel training mode. In order to further implement and promote the three-roientation talent training mode, to keep up with the pace of the times and adapt to the needs of social development, our college revised the student evaluation methods from the aspects of professional spirit, practice ability and social adaptation so as to improve the comprehensive quality. We were striving to develop and implement the comprehensive quality evaluation system for students, which is not only used to test the comprehensive quality of students level, but also to seek weak points and shortcomings of the university in the process of personnel training, and further ensure the validity of the three-roientation talent training model. Meanwhile, it allows students to find out their own strengths and weaknesses, so as to encourage and stimulate the continuous improvement from most students, to improve and enhance the self-development of the internal driving force, and to promote the comprehensive quality of the students.

The step-by-step transnasal endoscopic surgery training model is a novel clinical teaching method, which is used to teach the clinical thinking and skill on the basis of typical clinical cases and with the guidance of teachers. It has the advantages of CBL (case-based learning), and also conforms to the residency training requirements of operation. This teaching model was used in the standard surgical teaching program for the residents of the otolaryngology head and neck surgery. This training model has set up series of standardization operations, trained the clinical thinking, and inspired the study enthusiasm of the residents. This kind of training model should be promoted.

Objective To investigate in the medical staff’s mastery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation technology and the training of each department by the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey. According to the problems reflected in the questionnaire, we developed training programs which aimed at making full mastery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation technology. Methods The PDCA cycle was used to establish a complete process of planning, implementating, inspecting and new problem solving. The teaching staff and the two-level training mechanism were established to make a combination of theory and operation with particular emphasis on the training of practical ability, which resulted in a quick grasp of CPR technology of the medical staff. Results An irregular spot-checking was made after the training, which had a 87% pass rate. Those who failed to pass the examination finally passed it after an intensive training. Conclusion It is necessary and feasible to carry out CPR training among the medical staff. The application of PDCA cycle is an effective way to find out problems and solve them with careful analysis. With this method, a skilled grasp of CPR technology of the whole staff is just around the corner.

With the development of society and medical science, the goal of clinical teaching of infectious diseases has changed from pure cultivation of doctors to cultivating three-dimensional talents. In a teaching hospital, regulating the teaching responsibilities of various levels of physicians can ease the teaching pressure, and, the quality of teaching can be ensured through the collective lesson preparation method. According to different training objects, appropriate training programs and assessment indicators can be set up, and teaching plans can be arranged comprehensively within the whole hospital. According to the recent changes in infectious disease spectrum and diagnosis and treatment technologies, the content of teaching should be adjusted, and the humanistic spirit should be reflected in clinical teaching, and the cultivation of scientific research ability should also be taken into account. All kinds of teaching models have their own advantages and disadvantages, which should be applied comprehensively in the clinical teaching of infectious diseases.

Objective To explore the combined teaching mode of CBL, PBL and TBL in oral clinical teaching and evaluate the teaching effect. Methods Clinical students of grade 2014 in our school were selected as the experimental group and taught in combined teaching mode (the test group, n=42). Clinical students of grade 2013 in our school were selected as the control group and adopted the traditional teaching mode (the control group, n=38). The questionnaire survey and a closed book exam were used to evaluate the teaching effect. The score on the final exam and the students’ satisfaction questionnaire after class were recorded. The differences between the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The teaching results in the experimental group was significantly better than those in the control group in the aspects of interest stimulation, knowledge mastery, self-educated ability, clinical thinking ability, total exam score, and subjective question score(P< 0.05), although it took the students in the experimental group much more time to prepare before classes(P< 0.05). And there was no difference in the ability of analysing, solving problems, and satisfaction on course arrangement and teachers (P > 0.05). Conclusion The combined teaching mode is appropriate in oral clinical teaching with good results.

Objective To explore the effect of quality control circle activity on reducing the rate of customers’ rejection of physical exaamination. Methods From March to November, 2016, we established the QCC team. Before the activities, we conducted brainstorming to find out the reasons of the rejections. According to the “80/20”rules, members of the group selected and analyzed the major reasons. In accordance with the requirements of QCC activities, we finally found out the real reasons for the customers to abandon the physical examination. We then developed and implemented quality improvement measures. Results The abandon rate of physical examination was reduced from 34.6% to 11.3% after the activity, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The quality control circle activity can effectively reduce the abandon rate of physical examination. ① For physical examination customers: this measure improves the completion rate of physical examination to ensure the quality of physical examination and customers’ satisfaction. ② For nurses: the measure enhances the sense of responsibility and improves the communication ability of nurses and customers. ③ For the Department: the measure increases team cohesion, enhances the ability to cooperate with each other, and reduces errors.

With the continuous development of our society and economy, people's living standard continues to improve and China’s medical industry is also in constant progress to protect the people’s health. Although the health service demand of the society is increasing, the need of public hospital human resources does not keep up with this practice. It leads to the contradiction between human demand and the actual public hospital staffing, which is becoming more and more serious. In order to alleviate this contradiction, public hospitals employ a lot of supernumerary staff outside the authorized personnel quoter, but at this stage, the management of the supernumerary personnel presents various problems.

Traditional teaching mode cannot satisfy the teaching requirements of ophthalmology, because of the subtle anatomical structure, diverse inspection methods and subtle surgery methods of ophthalmology. Mobile internet, with the characteristics of abundant teaching resources, diverse teaching methods and timely and convenient communication, can be integrated with case-based learning. Thus it can be used in constructing ideal learning environment and information platform, so as to obtain better teaching results.

The organization and management of examinations are of great importance for the curriculum development in education. The computer aided examination system has significantly improved the efficiency of examination tasks. The development of a functional online examination system will greatly facilitate the delivery of modern higher education. Currently, the rapid development of internet technology has reshaped the learning process of college students in nearly all natural or social scientific disciplines. Online examination platforms with network and database support have become a required setup for modern education. The development of a tool to provide a generic solution for online examinations will be in demand for course directors. In this paper, we described our efforts to develop and integrate several free opensource software resources for a successfully constructed USB mobile system with scalability. The system was tested to be stable and easy to use, providing multiuser registration and allowing real-time interaction, dynamic random test, online grading, question bank management, user management, score record report and documentation, etc. The implementation and application of our online examination system can support most of the required tests and examinations with ease, flexibility and reliability.
