Application of holistic integrated medicine in clinical teaching of ophthalmology

Abstract: To cultivate students’ ability of independent study and problem solving, and set up the concept of individualbased treatment, we introduced the concept of holistic integrated medicine in clinical teaching of ophthalmology. We took glaucoma as a teaching model and conducted a reform in preparation, content design and teaching mode. The results show that the students had a good grasp of the knowledge, better satisfaction and enthusiasm with the teaching. They also recieved good training of research ideas. The method achieved good practical results.
