The students were assigned to the control group (grade 2012) and test group (grade 2013) according to their grades. The students in the control group were taught with the routine course and the test group were taught with the Card Type mode plus routine teaching. Finally, the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) was used to evaluate the quality of the teaching course. Results A total of 95 students participated in this study and the OSCE test. In every subject of the OSCE examination, the scores of the test group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.01). In the test group, the results show that 34 students got an excellent, 14 students got a good, while in control group, 20 students got an excellent, 20 students got a good, and 7 students got an average. Conclusion The Card-Type teaching based on conventional teaching methods can significantly elevate the chemotherapic medicine examination level of the medical students.
