Use of mindmapper in the teaching of Pharmacology to undergraduates

Abstract: Objective Pharmacology is the major course for undergraduates whose specialty is pharmacy. The students always think that Pharmacology is boring and difficult to study. The aim of this study was to improve the studying effect in the teaching of Pharmacology. Methods The authors tried to use mindmapper in teaching Pharmacology in an order from a single medicine, a classification of medicines, medicines with common features, to the summary of the class. Results The students showed infinite inspiration and enthusiasm for the study of Pharmacology, changing from passively receiving knowledge to actively thinking associated pharmacy. The studying effect in the teaching of pharmacology was improved. Conclusion Mindmapper is an effective method for improving the study effect of undergraduates in the teaching of pharmacology.
