between nursing admissions and clinical needs in Beijing in recent 5 years

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To understand whether the nursing admissions in Beijing can meet the needs of the hospitals in Beijing by analyzing the admissions of 10 schools from 2015 to 2019, the number of registered nurses in Beijing from 2013 to 2018. Methods To study the admissions through the official website of the Beijing Education Examination Authority, each schools official website or WeChat Official Account; to check the number of registered nurses from 2013 to 2018 through the official website of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission. Results The annual enrollment of 10 schools is 2 060 and the number of registered nurses increases averagely by 4 800 in Beijing from 2014 to 2018. Conclusion Ten schools^, nursing admissions can^,t meet the nursing needs of all hospitals, so the enrollment scale should be expanded.
