Development of medical students’ professionalism through long-term mechanism of volunteer service

Abstract: Hospital voluntary service is not only an important manifestation of the hospital’s soft power, but also an important way to promote the formation of medical students’ professionalism. It is imperative to explore the long-term mechanism of medical students’ participation in hospital volunteer service through concrete practice to promote the establishment of medical students’ professionalism. This article analyzes the long-term mechanism of the medical students volunteer service from the following three aspects: significance of volunteer service, the existing problems and solutions. Through proper guidance and reasonable arrangements, teachers can cultivate students’ motivation and interest, improve the system of examination, and ensure the hospital volunteer service system constantly is improved.
