Abstract: Through an in-depth analysis of developmental education theories, we propose a series of targeted teaching supervision strategies and methods, focus on the teaching level and competence improvement of teachers as well as the all-round development and learning needs of students. At the theoretical level, we elaborate the basic viewpoints of developmental education theory and its guiding significance for teaching supervision in colleges and universities. At the practical level, this paper discusses the specific application effect of developmental education theory in teaching supervision in colleges and universities through the "four concepts", "four methods", "four activities" and "four experiences" of the medical teaching supervision team of our university. This study not only enriches the application of developmental education theory in teaching supervision in colleges and universities, but also provides a useful reference for future related research.
