Abstract:  “Molecular biological basis of disease” is a difficult chapter in molecular biology, covering the molecular and metabolic characteristics and detection methods of clinical diseases. It poses challenges for medical sophomores. We adopted holistic integrative medicine problem-based learning to link molecules and phenotypes with the metabolic process of diseases. To make students better understand and promote students ‘interest in learning, we changed the teacher’s lecture mode into students’ lecture mode. Consequently, teaching atmosphere and teaching effects were improved.
