Application and study of formative assessment in the undergraduate clinical teaching

Abstract: Formative assessment methods in undergraduate clinical teaching, such as in-class test and feedback, online self-test and feedback, DOPS and Mini-CEX are used to improve the student assessment system. The interviews among teachers and students and the questionnaires show that formative assessment meets students’ needs and is helpful to improve the faculty’s teaching and students’ learning.
