Abstract: Postgraduate education is a key factor leading the development of "Double First-class", and the primary measure for the development and reform of postgraduate education is the reform of enrollment selection system. In view of the problems existing in the current postgraduate reexamination mode, in order to make the selection of postgraduate students in clinical medicine more scientific and fair, and to provide colleges and universities with high-potential and high-quality clinical medical talents, this paper innovatively applies the "personal potential index" proposed by the American Educational Testing Service Center to evaluate the "non-cognitive skills and personal core qualities" of the test takers in the "structured interview", focusing on the reexamination interview of clinical medical graduate student admissions, and providing certain reference for the reform of graduate admissions selection.

Key words: personal potential index, structured interview, clinical medicine, postgraduate admission
