Abstract: Scientific and technological innovation is the cornerstone of medical development and an important channel to cultivate high-level professional talents and produce high-level innovative achievements. Clinical medicine is a traditional dominant discipline, and an innovation engine of medical colleges and universities. Under the background of new medical development and first-class discipline construction, the innovation and development of clinical medicine discipline in independent medical colleges and universities faces many shortcomings, including limited scientific research resources and inadequate inter-disciplinary talents. In view of the comparison of high-level innovation achievements of clinical disciplines in major comprehensive universities and independent medical colleges in China, as well as the problems that hinder the innovation and development of clinical medicine, devoted to the high-grade, precision and advanced construction ideas of clinical medicine disciplines, which has certain theoretical significance for the establishment of high-grade, precision and advanced disciplines in clinical medicine.
