Medical functional experiment is a new independent experiment course, yet the traditional assessment mode failed either to evaluate accurately student’s actual learning status and level or adapt to them. Based on our university network teaching platform and the virtual simulation experiment system, a series of reform practice has been carried out in accordance with the teaching requirements of functional experiment and the situation of our university. Through five years of practice and improvement, we have established a relatively mature, featured, reasonable, fair, objective, comprehensive course assessment mode, thus effectively enhanced the students’ enthusiasm and initiative, improved the operation skills and basic scientific literacy. This mode plays a significant role in all-around evaluation of students' comprehensive practical ability and in improvement of the teaching quality.

Objective To investigate the current education situation in the process of curriculum learning, clinical rotation, community rotation and scientific research among the professional postgraduates majoring in general practice, and to provide reference for the future training. Methods A total of 22 general practice postgraduates in Class 2013 from the Capital Medical University were investigated by self-developed questionnaires. SPSS 22.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results The number of postgraduates choosing community health service center or general practice department of tertiary hospital for employment was 12(54.5%); all (100%) were very satisfied or satisfied with the clinical rotation in the tertiary hospitals; and 18 (81.8%) were very satisfied or satisfied with the community rotation. The graduated students were generally satisfied to achieve self-improvement from the six compulsory theory courses.A total of 17 (77.3%) postgraduates were satisfied with the overall implementation of their scientific research. Conclusion In the future, we should stress the
construction of demonstration tutors of general practice, ensure the postgraduates early participation into the community rotation, as well as focus on training high quality medical professionals with improved basic clinical skills learning and scientific research abilities.

Objective To explore the effect of interactive case symposium on the basic knowledge, basic theory and basic skills training of surgical residents in interprofessional learning (IPL). Methods The case study was conducted as resident physicians presented case and guided discussion, supplemented by supervisors comments and suggestions. From September 2011 to August 2016, 91 residents of Xuanwu Hospital were trained in typical cases of different disciplines. The post-class Q&A, seminars and questionnaire survey methods were used to evaluate the educational effects of the case discussions. The data were dealt with by statistical analysis. Results 91 surgeons participated in case sessions on a regular basis and completed a questionnaire survey. All the questionnaires were retrieved and 98% of them were valid. The result of seminars shows that the satisfaction of the case discussion is 70%. The questionnaire was completed and the evaluation and comparison were made from five aspects: the typicality of the case, the adequacy of the report and the preparation of the examination, the depth and breadth of the evaluation, the effect of knowledge and the results of knowledge examination. The total score of the questionnaire was 73.6 ± 13.5 points. Among them, there was no significant difference in the scores between the years 2011 to 2016. However, the scores were different in some months, indicating that the scores of the different subjects were manifest. Conclusion The Interactive Surgery Resident Case Symposium is supported and
welcomed by the resident, yet needs further improvement and can be promoted in teaching reform.

】Objective To explore the feasibility, acceptability and validity of problem-based learning (PBL) concept maps teaching method in clinical oncology. Methods Students were randomly divided into experimental group (using PBL concept maps teaching method) and control subjects (using traditional PBL teaching method). At the end of the course, both groups were surveyed, and their scores of standardized test scores were compared. Results The statistical analysis showed that students with PBL conceptual maps were more adept at continuing to use concept maps teaching in the future and had better performance in learning autonomy, in self-evaluation, and in initiative to fill knowledge gaps for the integration of knowledge and clinical thinking in PBL teaching. Conclusion Scores of students using PBL concept maps were significantly higher than those of non-conceptual maps teaching students. Concept maps teaching methods are readily accepted by oncology students, and can be included in the PBL tutorials to improve students learning ability on oncology.

The application of multimedia database can effectively solve the problem of the medical case shortage, training time deficiency, traditional teaching limitations and patients’ failure to cooperate. It helps teachers to improve their own ability and grasp more knowledge by integrating the clinical data, and also meets the needs of students at different levels of learning. The application of multimedia database in the teaching of dermatology and venereology is worth promotion and application, as a supplement to, not a substitute for the traditional teaching.

Objective To analyze the practical cases, operations and DRGs index in the residents training bases of obstetrics in Beijing, and to set appropriate scientific evaluation standards for those bases. Methods Based on medical record information from 2014 to 2015 in Beijing residents training bases, we compared the practical cases and operations of the residents with the evaluation index system of standardized resident training bases of obstetrics and gynecology in Beijing. Results The total weight of DRGs in training bases is basically the same as the standard of diseases, and DRGs index can evaluate the training bases in terms of medical service efficiency and the difficulty of diagnosis and treatment. Both premature rupture of membranes and scar uterus were the leading cases in obstetrics disease, yet there is no corresponding requirements in the system. In terms of disease category, only four training bases were all up to standard, and the number of surgical cases was basically up to standard. The estimated the number of patients in both F hospital and the J hospital. The F hospital is slightly higher than the actual number of bearing, indicating both hospitals can bear more residency training tasks. Conclusions DRGs can be used to evaluate the standardized training bases for residents, and the number of diseases and operations should be further improved in the evaluation index system of obstetrics. The training bases can dynamically adjust themselves and the carrying number of people also need adjust correspondingly.

Through sorting out the evaluation index system of scientific research competitiveness of medical universities in China, this paper showed that most evaluation index systems of medical universities were similar to those of comprehensive universities, which is insufficient to reflect the characteristics of medical universities. Through literature research and Delphi expert consultation, this paper set up a set of operable evaluation index system reflecting the characteristics of medical universities in China, and collected index data for empirical analysis both subjectively and objectively.
