Abstract: Objective To evaluate the application of the young doctors’ case report speech contest in clinical oncology teaching. Methods Resident doctors and postgraduates, both master and doctoral candidates, entered preliminary contest,then six contestants went into the finals. After the contest, the judges gave them an assessment. Results Contestants all had excellent performance and achieved satisfactory learning effects. Conclusion Contestants have improved abilities of selflearning,summarizing and language performance.
