Abstract: Through sorting out the evaluation index system of scientific research competitiveness of medical universities in China, this paper showed that most evaluation index systems of medical universities were similar to those of comprehensive universities, which is insufficient to reflect the characteristics of medical universities. Through literature research and Delphi expert consultation, this paper set up a set of operable evaluation index system reflecting the characteristics of medical universities in China, and collected index data for empirical analysis both subjectively and objectively.
