Abstract: Currently the epidemic situation of COVID-19 is still urgent. The prevention and control work of medical institutions at all levels was carried out in an orderly manner. It is very important to establish a set of reasonable and complete emergency medical systems for designated hospitals. Here we summarized the characteristics of the existing emergency medical system in Beijing You’an hospital from the aspects of organizational structure, division of labor and treatment process. We also identified key points during COVID-19 management and control. A working model of “unified leadership with the division of labor and cooperation” and a series of complete diagnosis and treatment procedures, such as pre-examination triage, fever outpatient department, and isolation wards can effectively ensure normal operations in the designated hospital. Combined with the experience of this outbreak, the establishment and operation of the prevention and control of COVID-19 in our hospital are summarized for reference by other medical institutions.
