Practice and reflection of traditional Chinese medicine major construction in comprehensive medical university—taking Capital Medical University as an example

Abstract: In the long-term educational practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine major at Capital Medical University, we have analyzed the characteristics of educational and teaching resources in a comprehensive medical university, combined with the source of students and their employment trends, and gradually established a high-quality education concept of combining college education with mentor education to cultivate talents in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. We have implemented a series of measures to deepen the comprehensive reform of education and teaching in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, significantly improving the quality of talent cultivation. Through professional certification, we have further clarified our own problems and formulated specific measures to continuously promote the construction of national first-class majors and further improve the quality of talent cultivation.
