Construction and application of online regional anatomy laboratory resources for international medical students

Abstract: Medical education for international students is an important part of the internationalization of China's education. In the context of COVID-19 epidemic, it has become an inevitable choice to carry out online teaching for international medical students. Regional anatomy is a basic medical course, closely linked to clinical practices, with emphasis on dissection. Its online laboratory teaching is challenged due to the lack of relevant resources in English. This paper describes the process of building up English dissection videos and exercise resources, introduces the measures and effects of applying them to international students class of 2020, and explores the advantages and disadvantages of these applications. It provides practical experience for further promoting online regional anatomy laboratory teaching for international students.
