Abstract: As a practical subject, the cultivation of practical ability is an important way to improve the post competency of “5 + 3” integrated clinical medical students, and it is also the starting point and objective of innovative quality education. Medical College of Zhengzhou University has been deploying the characteristics and discipline advantages of comprehensive university for many years. Through the reform of experimental teaching curriculum, opening experimental teaching and scientific research platform, the role of education and teaching units at all levels in the process of cultivating medical students innovation ability has been fully played. In the process of cultivating broad foundation and strong ability, it is advisable quickly to adapt to the rapid development of modern basic medical education, improve the training ability of high-level talents, and help the construction of double first-class universities.
