Exploration of ideological and political education in the course of Epidemic Febrile Diseases under the background of curriculum ideological and political reform

Abstract: In the new era, it has become an important goal of higher education reform of traditional Chinese medicine to deepen the ideological and political education in universities. As one of the important classic and professional courses of traditional Chinese medicine, the teaching content of Epidemic Febrile Diseases contains rich ideological and political elements. Based on the questionnaire survey on the ideological and political education of grade 2018 five-year undergraduate students of traditional Chinese medicine, this paper analyzed the learning situation. On this basis, the ideological and political education should be integrated into the teaching content of Epidemic Febrile Diseases, including patriotism and dedication, medical spirit of saving the dying, professional ethics and morality, scientific spirit and social responsibility, cultural inheritance and innovation and entrepreneurship, so as to enhance patriotism, cultivate dedication and creativity. While imparting the knowledge of Epidemic Febrile Diseases, we should build an effective integrated teaching environment of ideological and political education in Epidemic Febrile Diseases, fully implement the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people, achieve the resonance of imparting knowledge and educating world outlook, outlook on life and values, and cultivate excellent talents with both morality and ability for the cause of traditional Chinese medicine.
