Abstract: To explore a new model of integrating aesthetic education with pathology course in medical education. This teaching model features visualizing abstract diseases knowledge through a series of participatory interactions such as micro-photography, drawing, presenting and evaluating images, guiding students to meticulously observe and distinguish the microscopic structures of human diseases. This teaching model not only allows students to deepen their understanding of conceptual knowledge of the microscopic features of diseases, but also can motivate students to discover and appreciate the unique charm of medicine and increase their interest and passion for pathology. The concept of aesthetic education is deeply integrated into the entire process of pathology teaching, enhancing students' artistic cultivation in the process of learning pathology. The interdisciplinary integration of pathology and aesthetic education can bring new perspectives to basic medical education.
