Abstract: Art education, as an indispensable part of aesthetic education, has always followed the basic principles of aesthetic education and has become a key means and carrier to achieve the goals of aesthetic education. Against the backdrop of higher literacy requirements for medical professionals in modern society, medical colleges and universities need to transcend traditional educational models and fully integrate art education into every aspect of medical aesthetic education. This integration process aims to leverage the multifaceted roles of art education in cultivating emotional and humanistic care, enhancing aesthetic and innovative abilities, strengthening professional ethics and sense of responsibility, reinforcing interdisciplinary literacy, and fostering the spirit of medical humanities. By implementing strategies such as integrating educational concepts, constructing curriculum systems, building teaching faculty, strengthening practical teaching, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and exploring campus cultural construction, the process optimizes the educational path for cultivating medical talents. This approach aims to cultivate high-quality medical professionals with professional medical skills and comprehensive humanistic literacy, so as to meet the demands of the times.
