Abstract: Medical Law is the most important characteristic course of medical health law major, which is of great significance for the cultivation of students professional thinking and the realization of professional training objectives. The summative evaluation method based on the final examination has many disadvantages, which has negative effects on cultivating students ability to analyze and solve problems, and cannot fulfill the aim to “promote learning through examination”. The formative evaluation of Medical Law based on Rain Classroom has the advantages of an omni-directional evaluation content, complete period of evaluation time, diversification of evaluation indicators, visualization of evaluation results and substantiation of evaluation effect. Formative evaluation based on Rain Classroom should be carried out in medical law courses, the implementation scope of formative evaluation should be determined, the formative evaluation index system and score of medical law courses based on Rain Classroom should be designed scientifically, and the formative evaluation should be carried out before, during and after class in sequence.
