Research on the short-term intensive education of cultural confidence in Chinese medicine among freshmen

Abstract: The short-term intensive education of cultural confidence in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) covers curriculum module, report module, practice module, film and television module, takes TCM’s core values, cognitive thinking mode and behavior mode as the main line, highlights the improvement of students’ TCM health literacy, and cultivates students’ cultural confidence in TCM. 1,957 medical freshmen were selected as the research objects for an one-month empirical study on the short-term intensive education of cultural confidence in TCM. Through the questionnaire survey before and after the intervention, the results show that the five dimensions of freshmen’s Chinese medicine health literacy level are statistically significant, with significant improvement effects.
