Abstract: Objective  To explore the law of medical scientific and technological innovation talents growth, in order to provide a theoretical basis for medical institutions to develop and train talents. Methods  A logical growth model was used to fit the growth rules of medical scientific and technological innovation talents based on a sample of 1 118 fund projects at or above the bureau level in a tertiary general hospital from January 2011 to August 2021. Results  Data of 1 118 projects were used to fit the development model of medical scientific and technological innovation talents. The growth curve was S-shaped and divided into four periods: 26~38 years old is accumulation period; the rapid growth period is 39~44 years old; and the peak period is 41~42 years old. 45~58 years old is mature stage; decline occurs at age 59 and over. Conclusion  Medical scientific and technological innovation talents training should follow the law of talent growth, according to the characteristics of talents in different periods, make sustainable talent training plan, stimulate the driving force of talent innovation, improve the ability of scientific research innovation.
