Abstract: The standardized residents training is to cultivate clinicians with independent and standardized treatment of common and multiple diseases. With the progress of medical technology, the deepening of healthcare system reform and the improvement of medical efficiency, outpatient service has become the main mode of continuous medical service. The era of medical education to make full use of teaching clinic to standardize outpatient teaching has come. However, the understanding of teaching clinic in China is insufficient, and there is no unified standard for teaching standard and application, especially in teaching process. This paper reviews the current situation of teaching clinic at home and abroad, and expounds in detail the concept of teaching clinic and outpatient teaching, the establishment of teaching clinic, the teaching norms of teaching clinic and matters needing attention, to hope the teaching clinic can be standardized and fully utilized in the standardized residents training, so as to improve the quality of training.
