Construction of top innovative talents training system of “Nanshan Class”

Abstract: Medical education is responsible for education and health, two major livelihood projects. With the changes in disease spectrums, the increase of health needs, and the transformation of medical models, the current medical education must actively adapt to new requirements and focus on cultivating more topnotch medical innovative talents, in the fields of major scientific issues and in response to prevention and control of major diseases. As the main force of personnel training in health, how the local colleges and universities carry out the above training is of strategic significance. This article mainly introduced the growing problems faced by the cultivation of topnotch innovative talents in clinical medicine. With the guidance of “Nanshan Spirit”, Guangzhou Medical University has established a distinctive topnotch innovative talent training model, i.e. three systems, threeinones and three integration, and has achieved positive results. The article aims to provide ideas for local colleges and universities to train highlevel medical and health personnel.
