Exploration and practice of constructing the teaching system of ideological and political education for medical students——a case of Tianjin Medical University

Abstract: Medical students are practitioners of “Healthy China” Strategy, carrying the future of medical development of China. Strengthening the ideological and political education in medical students is important for cultivating medical talents with good moral character. This paper analyzes that medical ideological and political education serves as the primary pathway of curriculum education, how to strengthen the coordinated development of various courses and ideological and political theory courses in medical colleges and universities, how to combine knowledge teaching with value guidance, as well as theory with practice, and how to guide students to integrate knowledge into action. Taking Tianjin Medical University as an example, this article introduces the exploration and practice of constructing the teaching system of ideological and political education for medical students, then investigates the effective ways for medical ideological and political education.
