Abstract: International student education is an important part of higher medical education in China. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Parasitology of Capital Medical University has carried out the construction and practice of an online English course of Human Parasitology for international students according to the guidance of “classes suspended but teaching and learning continues” advocated by the Ministry of Education. We carried out theoretical and experimental online teaching through combination of PowerPoint (PPT) screen and explanation recording, micro-video recording and virtual stimulation, and completed the course assessment through a combination of procedural evaluation of after-class exercises and summative evaluation of mini-review writing, and evaluated students’ learning effectiveness and improvement suggestions through the feedback of questionnaire survey. This paper summarized the experience of online teaching practice in order to further improve the curriculum construction and the quality of education for international students.
