Abstract: Epidemic prevention and control needs the preciseness of medical science and the warmth of medical humanities. In the fight against the novel coronavirus epidemic, there is occasional lack of medical humanities. In epidemic prevention and control, the special role of medical humanistic spirit and humanistic care is emphasized and brought into play. Medical colleges and universities should give full play to the advantages of medical humanities, provide intellectual support through psychological assistance, put forward suggestions in accordance with law and regulations, and undertake entrusted projects, and take this opportunity to strengthen medical humanities education and discipline construction.
