Abstract: Objective To explore the application of multimedia-PBL integrated teaching method in clinical urology. Methods We employed the problem-based learning (PBL), students-centered multimedia teaching mode in clinical urology, We collected and analysed typical clinical cases according to the teaching outline, guided students to find relevant information before the class, to sharpen clinical thinking and to discuss and to solve problems. Finally, the teacher summarized diagnosis and treatment process of cases and designed reasonable treatment plan using multimedia resources. Resullts Application of multimedia-PBL integrated teaching method in clinical urology stimulated students’ interests in clinical work, cultivated their clinical thinking ability. Conclusion Application of multimedia-PBL integrated teaching method in clinical urology provided a good platform for the all-round development of students and actively promoted the teaching work in clinical urology.
