Management of large-scale instruments and equipment in medical colleges and universities—taking Capital Medical University as an example

Abstract: This article starts with an analysis of the current situation of large-scale instrument and equipment management in medical colleges, focusing on factors such as ideological awareness, management mechanisms, repeated purchases, usage efficiency, maintenance costs, space occupation, and personnel team. By exploring ways to change ideology, clarify functional positioning, conduct plagiarism checks and evaluations, manage requirements, and optimize configuration, an effective mechanism for managing large-scale instruments and equipment can be formed. Meanwhile, this article elaborates on the later operation management of large instruments and equipment from the aspects of policy formulation, platform construction, training and exchange, operation and maintenance, and performance appraisal management, aiming to form an effective management model for large instruments and equipment.
