Abstract: Objective To construct the competency evaluation index system for teachers in standardized training for residents, so as to provide reference for their quantitative management. Methods On the basis of literature review, the paper sorted out the index items for the competency evaluation of teachers in standardized training for residents and made a questionnaire. The Delphi method was used to conduct two rounds of consultation on the index items. The degree of coordination of expert opinions was represented by Kendall coefficient (W), and the index weights were determined by analytic hierarchy process (AHP).Results A three-level competency evaluation index system for teachers was constructed, which including 3 first-level indicators, 7 second-level indicators and 34 third-level indicators. The W values of all indexes in the two rounds of consultation were 0.13 and 0.19, respectively (P values were <0.001), indicating that the evaluation system design was credible. Conclusion The constructed competency evaluation index system for teachers in standardized training for residents is scientific and reliable, and can provide a reference for their refined management.
