Abstract: Objective To construct sensitive control thinking training system and explore its teaching effects in the practice of emergency resident training base. Methods Forty-eight residential trainees in emergency department rotation in our hospital from January to December 2020 were selected as the control group, the traditional residential training mode was adopted as the teaching mode; while 110 residential trainees in emergency department rotation from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the experimental group. The teaching mode was integrated and reinforced with the theory of sensory control, skills and thinking training and assessment. The teaching effects and satisfaction rates were compared from six dimensions: theory examination, skill examination, observer single-blind survey, multi-dimensional sensitive thinking and executive evaluation, Mini-CEX procedural evaluation, and teaching satisfaction. Results The experimental group was better than the control group (P<0.05) in theory test score, skill test score, observer single-blind survey results, multidimensional perceptual thinking and executive ability evaluation, Mini-CEX perceptual process evaluation, teaching satisfaction evaluation and quality safety index. Conclusion In the post-epidemic era, the construction of infection control thinking training system has effectively improved the teaching effect and the students' post competency in teaching practice of emergency resident training base, and can be further promoted.
