Construction and application of medical English digital teaching resources from the perspective of curriculum resources

Abstract: Based on the concept of curriculum resources, this paper analyzes the connotation and development of digital teaching resources, expounds the principles of being relevant, systematic and scientific in constructing medical English digital teaching resources including MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and Micro-lectures, and puts forward a five-step construction path integrating analysis, design, production, application and optimization. Taking the construction and application of medical English digital teaching resource Medical Terminology Step by Step MOOC by Capital Medical University as an example, this paper explores the role of digital teaching resources in facilitating the online and offline blended teaching modes, enhancing the comprehensive medical English skills of medical students, optimizing their learning styles and improving their learning efficiency. This paper also provides further insights into the joint construction and sharing of national medical English digital teaching resources, hoping that high-quality medical English digital resources can be better applied to promote the growth of national medical talents.
