The practical exploration of standardized training for surgical postgraduate of professional degree

Abstract: It is a new concept and direction for medical education reform that the surgical postgraduates of professional degree should receive the standardized training in subordinate discipline in order to make them to reach the level of the first stage resident during the three years of professional training. How to change the concept to realize the training goal is a new issue for tutors, surgical teachers and educational administrators to address. This article summarized the common problems which surgical postgraduates of professional degree met during the clinical rotation, analyzed the reasons and discussed how to reform the teaching education and change the teaching and management model based on the problems.
