Practical analysis of competition-driven education model in medical colleges from theperspective of "three-wide education" —a case study of the "Medical Alliance Cup"competition

Abstract: Guided by the concept of three-wide education, this paper takes the "Medical Alliance Cup" competition as anexample to explore the educational model of promoting learning through competitions in medical colleges and universities,and the path of three-wide education covering all members, the whole process, and all aspects. By analyzing the theoreticalconvergence points of three-wide education and promoting learning through competitions, this paper discusses how tointegrate the concepts of all members, the entire process, and all aspects into the practical methods of competitions, andsummarizes the three core paths of promoting learning through competitions, promoting thinking through watchingcompetitions, and promoting practice through preparing for competitions. It further puts forward optimization strategies,including strengthening intercollegiate cooperation and improving the construction of competition systems; perfectingprocess connection and building a full-chain education system; expanding the dimensions of education and strengtheningvalue guidance; empowering with digital and intelligent technologies and innovating competition design. This study isintended to provide references for medical colleges and universities to deepen the concept of three-wide education andcultivate high-quality medical talents.
