    This paper made a brief review on the development process of medical education management and proposed suggestions on how to strengthen the discipline construction of medical education management. Firstly, build a scientific and systematic discipline theory system. Secondly, strengthen subject construction. Thirdly, take initiative on research work and perfect discipline system. Fourthly, promote academic exchange and strengthen international cooperation. Fifthly, put emphasis on publishing monograph.

    With years of rapid development in medical education, the discipline of medical education management received increasing attention. From a meta perspective, this paper identifies the development background, connotation, and subject properties of medical education management. Besides, based on the reflection of medical education management’s construction, it puts forward suggestions in the systematization of discipline theory, the standardization of subject system, the specialization of the discipline team, and the systematization of the discipline research. Finally, it sheds light on the further development and gradual perfection of medical education and the discipline of medical education management.

    Reform in public hospitals, a crucial component in the national medical and health system reform, has been forging ahead to solve the problems in the difficulty and high cost of getting medical treatment as well as to provide fair and affordable services for all citizens. It is obvious to identify that the objectives and measures in public hospitals reform are to enhance the medicare efficiency and effectiveness in all-around ways. However, the needs of the university hospitals are overlooked, hence there raises the question: where is the way for the university hospitals in the public hospitals reform? This paper takes into consideration the following factors: rich personal experiences in medical education and medical education management, personal reflections about the impact of the higher education management system reform on medical education for the past 15 years, different categories of hospitals and the trends in hospital advancements. As regards the reforms in public hospitals and the university hospitals, the author argues that increasing attention and importance should be attached to the needs and particular rules of the university hospitals to provide a solid foundation for medical sectors in higher education and better future for the coordination and the win-win of medicine and education.

    Objective Aim to satisfy medical personnel training reform requirement and improve theoretical level and the clinical diagnosis of TCM medical graduate students in our school, plan to reform TCM clinical basic course on Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Methods make an investigation of 51 students through the questionnaire designed by our team, who took TCM clinical basic courses. Results 90.2% students thought the course was practical. More than 80% students thought that the teaching method and teaching quality was good. Case Teaching and Seminar teaching became the ideal teaching model tostudents. Writing papers and open-book examination were the students’ ideal examination form. Conclusion TCM clinical basic course needs to be reformed.As a “bridge course” edicine education and research should be synchronized and cooperated by combining theory with practice, in order to promote the development of teaching content, teaching methods, teaching training and examination methods. Hense, the comprehensive abilities of students.can be enhanced by combining theoretical teaching with practical teaching.

    Integration medicine is a process of integrating the most advanced knowledge-based theories of medicine and the most effective clinical experiences aimed on solving the limitation of diagnosis and treat due to detailed division and fragmentation. It is the new medical system, on the basis of approaches of society, environment and psychology, using the holistic viewpoint and putting the medical humanism into effect in health care service, as result of which, it becomes more in line with human health and disease treatment. Integration medicine whether in teaching and in practice involves such courses as clinical courses and related disciplines, prevention health care, traditional medicine, large data network, humanistic care, management mechanism.     Training of postgraduates of surgery is to culture high level professionals with clinical skill and research ability. The training system of surgery postgraduates is being reformed currently, which is combined with the resident training, to explore a new way to culture the high level surgeon. The mentor and the postgraduates feel confusion and face the challenges. The new policy need to be adjusted with the carrying out the new training system. On one hand, postgraduates need to receive the training according to the new policy guidance; on the other hand, they have to spare some time to accumulate some research experience. The mentor and the postgraduates work with joint effort to develop high level professionals with clinical skill and research ability.

    Objective To investigate the methods of neurosurgical specialist nurses on-the-job training and its effects to enhanceoverall quality. Methods Mode of on-the-job training, 195 clinical nurses of four different groups were trained respectively. Results Overall quality increase year after year through targeted training in accordance with the standards, nursing quality is rising steadily.Conclusion Mode of on-the-job training is helpful to improve nursing quality in neurosurgery.

    Objective To analyze the current status of staff in tertiary hospital taking paid leave and the factors contributing to the status, and to provide policy recommendations for the further development of public hospital personnel system reform. Methods Samples were drawn by using multi-stage stratified random sampling and 450 questionnaires were completed, data were collected and analyzed by using logistic regression. Results The percentage of staff having taken paid leave in the past year was 90.5%,about 57% of them had exhausted all their paid leave. General management in department, employee position and types of employment contract were the influencing factors for the staff. The difference between departments (χ2=8.979,p<0.05), employee position (χ2=86.187,p<0.001) and type of employment contract (χ2=29.974, p<0.001) were statistically significant, respectively. Conclusion Medical staff work load is great, and they have much less in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the paid vacation system. Different types of employees are all likely to be at higher risk, management concept is the key to implement the system of paid vacation. Tertiary hospital personnel system reform should increase awareness of non-economic salary system, and build an employee centered culture to meet the future challenges of doctor's multi-sited license.
