Construction and practice of personnel performance appraisal system for staff in experimental teaching center in colleges and universities

Abstract: Experimental teaching center as an important unit in the university, distinguishes itself from the general faculties. It covers completing the experimental teaching tasks, assisting postgraduates in their project implementation, cultivating undergraduates' innovative experimental ability, laboratory construction, instrument management, consumables and supplies management, experiment site and safety management, etc. Staff in this center shoulder various responsibilities and some work is difficult to quantify, so it is urgent for university management department to appropriately construct a corresponding performance appraisal system. Taking the experimental teaching and management center of Chongqing Medical University as an example, this paper introduces the construction of it performance appraisal system from 2007 to 2021. The performance appraisal system should be improved to effectively mobilize the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of the staff in the experimental teaching center.
